One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to bloggers is that when the writer starts by saying, “Sorry it’s been so long since I have blogged…” my skin crawls! I’m like – nobody is sitting there every morning going … “when is that blogger going to write a post?! ” because nobody really cares!
Or Do You?
So I refuse to start off this blog post with sorry I haven’t written since April!!! EEK!
Or did you actually miss me and I need to say sorry? lol
Instead, I want to reconnect and start where we left off. All things fearless, all things faith and all things real.
You see, over the last few months I launched a book (That was major), had surgery (that was really major), quit my job (major, major) , got another job (major) and sent my eldest off to bible college (like…MAJOR!).
When you go through several big life moments like I had, in just under two months, you only have energy to sweat the DRAMATIC STUFF.
Truthfully, when you go through a lot of changes and intense life moments in a short time period you get a little rattled. Your faith gets hit, your confidence, your clarity and even your peace. Yes, this anxiety guru had lost her peace a little.
In my course The Fearless Traveler, my students and I joined up for one of our monthly online calls. Our last meeting was fantastic as we talked about regaining confidence.
Before each call I spend a few moments in worship and prayer and as I was searching YouTube for Worship Music this ad played and stopped me in my tracks.
It was an ad for a Masterclass with Chris Hadfield. As a Canadian I always stop to hear from Chris (cause he’s AMAZING) so I wasn’t about to SKIP THE AD. My jaw dropped to the ground and goose bumps filled my arms as I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
It ministered to me so much that I had to share it with my students and I want to share it with you too!

KNOW THE WORD OF GOD AND SEEK HIS WISDOM
“The more you know the less you fear.”
Proverbs 4:6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her and she will watch over you.
FOCUS ON JESUS IN MOMENTS OF INTENSITY
“When the clock strikes zero only focus on the moment you are in.”

KEEP YOUR FAITH SIMPLE
“Study every system and boil it down to a one pager.”

KNOW THE POWER YOU HAVE
“You have to be able to solve all your problems in one breath.”
2 Corinthians 10:4 We have divine power to demolish strongholds.
I also loved how this reflected Chapter 6 in my book Fearless in 21 Days where I share about the power of writing your truths on a cue card to pull out in severe moments of anxiety.
PUSH THROUGH TRIALS
“You have to push your lungs forward under pressure.”
James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial.
HOW COOL WAS THAT?! Was there anything else that stood out to you?
