I’m so grateful I came along your blog. Thank you for being real and honest. I have struggled with anxiety for 4 years now and it sucks! But through it all I have come to know God in a way I’ve never known. I know He is bringing me through and reading about you encourages me that this is not it. God has a plan for my life and it does not include a struggle with anxiety. This is a season and this too shall pass.
I’m looking forward to reading your blog on a regular basis.
May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family and to use you in might ways.
We serve a great God!
XO Sylvia

Hi….I was directed to your site by a nurse ….I recently had anxiety hit me and also feel some depression.
I keep thinking over and over why did this happened…and soon my mind was on the wheel…like I can’t stop.
I think that is the worst part and trying to break that is hard…
I have been reading your story….and I will begin trying your suggestions. The fasting, declaring out loud and others you suggest. I too, could not sleep and am on some meds….otherwise I wouldnt fall asleep ! IN the morning I also dread getting up….
I have not been prone to anxiety that stays with me….I had a similiar episode some years ago. It was about a year before I came out of it….I don’t wish that to happen. I feel calm sitting her writing to you…
Thank you and I will appreciate any more you have to say to me.
Cindy

Thank you Cindy for your comment. I am so glad you have found this resource, I know that you will find some freedom here, if anything, find hope that if you got through it once you can get through it again. I am not sure your specific situation, but usually when this first hits what you need the most is rest. Take time to rest your body, your mind (easier said than done, I know) and your spirit. Know that God cares for your whole being and allow him to lead you to a deeper healing so that you can be completely set free. Praying for you.

Ryan says:
I have struggled with anxiety for my entire life. In a deep, dark time my sister introduced me to your book. I have never seen a clearer description of what I was and am currently going through. Your words give me hope and encouragement. The Lord brought you into my life when I desperately needed it. Thank you for your words and ministry helping others get their lives back.
Sarah E Ball says:
Ryan, I am blessed you are here and I pray for hope to guide every step to wholeness.
Ron says:
Sarah I am thankful for your courage, faith and servant spirit. I live in small town AB and believe there are many like you far from the supports of the big city who would be encouraged by your story. I am called a Catalyst and with contacts could arrange for you to speak on a College Campus in Central AB one you will know. Let me know if you are open to travel about 1.5 hrs from Calgary by car.
Jennifer Schmatz says:

Hi Sarah,
I purchased your course. My email is simpleirene@yahoo.com
Another question, how long did you have to take anti anxiety medicine?
saraheball1 says:
Hi Irene, I was not on medication. I am not against it though. If you need it and your doctor says you need it best to go with their advice.
